ISSUES
| ANGER
– |
A re-active habit that is very hard to stop or "manage" Instead,
individuals I work with have learned to apply new thinking strategies to the
circumstances that frustrate them and thereby decrease or even avoid
angering altogether.
|
| LONELINESS
– |
As individuals find it is easier to approach others, they cut back on trying
to influence others to come to them. They find they become gradually attached
and much less lonely.
|
| LOW SELF-ESTEEM
– |
Pickup an easy to learn strategy which will allow to literally
"gain control" to raise your self image.
|
| DEPRESSION
– |
Depression is a common behavior that can be overcome with cognitive therapy.
As you become more skillful in meeting your needs, you create good feelings
which tend to replace your sad mood.
|
| TRUST
– |
Trust is mandatory to any meaningful relationship. As you become more capable
and confident in creating personal security, the reliability of your partner
becomes less troublesome.
|
| COMMUNICATION– |
Often clients don’t have difficulty communicating with others. However, they do find
it hard to communicate with each-other. After learning new re-thinking strategies they
"see" each-other more favorably, and their consequent communication
becomes more pleasant.
|
| COMMITMENT– |
Commitment, being "best friends" and passion are required for a
successful marriage or relationship. Commitment is a pledge made by each
individual in a relationship to learn how to rely more upon themselves
rather than their partners for their happiness.
|
| INTIMACY– |
The highest most sensitive form of communication between individuals. Intimacy is a state
of passion created when best friends develop the ability to control for their happingess
with each other.
